Utah Opera’s 5 Resident Artists are available during choir classes for a live video presentation that includes live performance and discussion as well as pre-recorded opera scenes. The program can be tailored for your class period length, 40-60 minutes. The finale of the presentation is the artists’ film of The Better Man, an opera commissioned last year from a Utah librettist and composer on the Utah theme of Martha Hughes Cannon’s 1896 run for Utah State Senate. Filmed at a Victorian-age home in Salt Lake City’s Avenues.
