OVERVIEW
Looking for a dose of love, laughter, and a little bit of magic? Watch as Nemorino, a lovesick soldier, tries to win the heart of the beautiful Adina—who gently rejects his advances. Seeking some help from the smooth-talking Dr. Dulcamara and his so-called “love potion,” Nemorino stirs up a whole lot of jealousy, mischief, and maybe even a bit of real romance! This bubbly comedy, bursting with effervescent charm (and a splash of citrus inspiration), is the perfect recipe for a fun night out.
Runtime: approximately 2.5 hours
Language: Sung in Italian with English supertitles (captions projected above the stage).
Content Advisory: Suitable for ages 5+. Romantic themes and drunken antics (for comedic purposes).

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Adina’s Love Advice Booth
Fate, flirtation, and fabulous nonsense—served between arias.
Step into the world of Utah Opera and make a pit stop at Adina’s Love Advice Booth, where romance meets ridiculousness. Channeling the wit and whimsy of Adina herself, this pop-up experience invites you to seek guidance on matters of the heart—or at least a good laugh.
What awaits you:
- A tarot card reading for love (destiny may be dramatic)
- Or ask Adina for advice—on crushes, confidence, or whatever’s on your mind
- Expect equal chances of brilliant insight and spectacularly terrible counsel
No matter what the cards say (or Adina decides), you’ll leave entertained, charmed, and maybe a little wiser—or at least more amused. Come for the opera, stay for the romance… and the chaos.
