OVERVIEW

Join the Utah Opera Resident Artists for a musical celebration of everyday events! All in a Day is a family-friendly concert filled with musical numbers from opera and musical theatre, progressing from the morning through the evening of a very good day: one that ends with birthday party!

Featuring the world premiere of Happy Birthday, a new short opera commissioned by Utah Opera from Utah composer Andrew Maxfield and librettist Ruthie Prillaman, this production addresses the controversy—and resolution!—of the question, “Who really owns the ‘Happy Birthday’ song?”

Runtime: Approx. 60 minutes, no intermission.

Tickets are just $5 per person or $10 per family (three or more)!
